영어 미사 기도문

최근 서울국제성당(외국인 성당)을 다니기 시작했다.

‘영어 공부도 하고 신앙 생활도 하고 다양한 사람들과 교제도 하고’

이런 생각으로 다니기 시작했지만,

필히 알아야 할 아래 기도문을 포함해서 아직은 영어 미사 통상문도 모르는 상태.

갈 길이 멀다.

THE GLORIA (대영광송)

Glory to God in the highest

and peace to His people on earth

Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God and Father,

we worship You, we give You thanks, we praise You for Your glory.

Lord jesus Christ, only Son of the Father,

Lord God, Lamg of God, You take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us

You are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer.

For you alone are the Holy One, You alone are the Lord,

You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit,

in the glory of God, the Father. Amen.

PROFESSION OF FAITH (사도신경)

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, make of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begittebm bit made, one in being with the Father.

Through Him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation,

He came down from heaven: (All bow at the following words up to : and became man.)

by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate;

He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures;

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdon will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who preceeds from the father and the son

With the Father and the Son He is worshipped and glorified.

He has spoken through the Prophets.

We believe in only holy catholic and apostolic Church.

We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

Amen.

LORDS PRAYER (주님의 기도)

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory,

For thine is the kingdon the power and the glory forever.

Amen.
